Location. Location. Location. That is all this place has going for it. It is nice and close to the caverns. Other than that we did have electricity and water and sewer hook ups.

Food is not good Location is the only thing going for this place. Also way understaffed.

On our way back from the caverns, we were hungry and decided to stop at this bar/restaurant in White's City. The food was surprisingly good and more then what we expected from this place. We walked in and there was one guy, a customer walking around. There was no one else in sight. We asked him if there was anyone working there and he said there was that she was in the back. Finally after about 5 minutes, she came and led us to a booth. We later learned she is normally the cook but was serving today which she normally does not do. Like I said, it was ok because we enjoyed the meal and survived the meal. I cannot say for sure if we would stop here again, but one never knows. I say its worth your time to form your own judgement. Give this place a shot, you may be surprised.

We stayed here in RV for 2 nights while we visited the caverns. We choose it because of its location and that is the ONLY reason I would stay here again. The people who checked us in at the gift shop were rude and surly. The 30 amp sites are poor - very small and many without even a picnic table. The 50 amp sites were bigger, but many had broken picnic tables, no fire pit, ours had trash I'm the fire pit. The bathrooms were disgusting. The men's room had a community shower. The women's had 2 shower stalls and was infested with bugs. The toilet stalls have curtains for doors. I didn't see any evidence of them cleaning in the 2 days we were there. They don't seem to care about the place. This is a shame as it's so convenient to the caves.

This place is clearly a shell of its former self. You can tell that it once had mass tourism appeal, but that is gone now. The present owners could capitalize on the fact that, aside from the caverns, it is the only place to eat in the area, but they don't even try. Bottom line: don't waste your time. We stopped in to order some snacks - french fries, chips and guacamole, tortillas, sweet tea and water. The service was terrible - the pitiful, blonde waitress was young, inexperienced, inattentive and slow. It took her 10 minutes to bring our drinks and she forgot straws. She brought the chips and guac after 10 more minutes. The guac was fine but the chips were stale. We reminded her about the tortillas and french fries. She finally brought 2 tortillas and no fries. We had to leave so we asked the manager to scratch the fries and bring the check. He never came back so we had to go to the front to get our check. When I was about to pay the waitress showed up with the french fries in a to-go container. Since we were already running late, I just paid for everything and left (it was $9 and not worth arguing over). We ate some of the french fries on the way to the caverns, but they were overcooked and gross. Overall score: D- and that is being generous.

This was my first time staying in an RV park. I cam up for a few days from El Paso with my friends in their RV, and although this was my first stay at any RV park, I was not impressed. I will begin with the positive things. Location, Location, Location. Carlsbad Caverns National Park is literally right next door, and as bad as this will sound, I believe that the caverns are the only thing keeping this park afloat. But i digress... Another good things is that the spots had all the hookups for the RV. It was quiet as well; there was relatively no noise from the highway. Now the bad... So this place was filthy. The facilities were not maintained well, and there was trash strewn about. This park has RV spots, as well as tent camping areas as well. The toilet and shower facilities on site were in utter disarray. Those buildings HAD screen doors to keep out bugs, but those days are over. The toilets and sinks have been completely taken over by insects. I also did not see much of a managerial presence. In the three days I was in the park, I saw not one employee of the park outside of the registration offices. The park was fairly cheap, and the only way I would stay here is if there are no other vacancies anywhere else. In my opinion, this should be only a last resort, or if you HAVE to stay close to the caverns.

40 years ago this used to be a wonderful place to make memories. Current owners have let this place go completely down the toilet. dirty everything's closed. Museum gone arcade gone Restaurant not that good. RV park disgusting dirty not kept clean door mode trash all over. Next time we go by we are not staying there I'll stay back in town. it appears nobody there cares about the guest or tourist anymore. Such a disappointment. The only reason anybody was there was because they did not know any better and will probably never be back

In my 13 years of Rving I have never walked away from a campground until I came to this place. After 9-10 hours on the road my wife and I pulled into this campground ready to get comfortable and cozy in our camper. We were visiting the Carlsbad Caverns and after doing a quick search this campground seemed to be in an ideal spot. Parked in their small parking lot and walked up to see about checking in and was met at the door by an older man who has ZERO mannerism what so ever! Our conversation lasted about 3 minutes and he was the rudest most arrogent individual I have ever come across while traveling and Rving. I refused to do business here and I will tell any and everyone about my encounter with this so called RV park. Luckily for us their was another campground just 17 miles down the road and we are quiet satisfied with its owner and facilities. Most importantly we were welcomed and treated with respect unlike what we found out with White City RV Park! It was dark and I did not get to see the full facilities at White City RV but by my encounter with the people at check-in I would not suggest anyone doing business here.

It's generous that I gave this park two stars. The only reason is due to it's proximity to Carlsbad Caverns. This place charges $30 plus per night and amazingly a Good Sam Park. It's way overpriced for what a pit this place is... It is in dire need of a facelift.

Been at this place with a tent. Don't do it! Never! The place is really not nice. But they clean their restrooms once every six months, no matter if it's necessary or not...

We actually stayed at the Guadalupe MTN NP campground (40 min away) on our recent visit to Carlsbad Cavern. However, when we left the Caverns, it had been 3 plus days without a shower so we thought we would search for a place we could pay for some showers as our campground did not have showers. We drove by White's and came across a gentleman walking a desert tortoise that was part of a petting zoo. Asking him politely if there were pay showers anywhere near by, he directed us to the campgrounds. As it turned out we were speaking with the owner who let us use the showers for free. We checked out the campgrounds and afterwards the petting zoo a nominal fee. The campgrounds were decent, with shade and grass but certainly no national park. Had we not been lucky enough to grab one of the limited campsites at Guadalupe NP, White's would not have been too bad of an alternative. If you are spending more than one day at the caverns, Camping at white's would certainly be convenient. You'll find that on trip advisor, people have had negative reviews of the (old) management. But as I understood, the gentleman/owner we spoke with had purchased the place within the past year, and was certainly gracious with letting a family of 7 use his showers even though we weren't staying there. My four star rating is in large part due to the kindness of a small bus. owner showing kindness to visitors/non-paying customers when he didn't have to.
